The Theory of Saionji is grounded on the fact that over 95% of people have had an incorrectly positioned pelvis since their birth, leading to back pain, joint pain and scoliosis. Most often it means that one ilium is placed higher than the other. The probability is very high that even people who think they have nothing to worry about concerning their health and really feel they enjoy good health, may have displaced hipbones. Most people have one or two centimeters of displacement in their hipbones. *1 The process of pathological change shows that the pelvis is the basis of the whole osteomuscular system. Its proper position plays the most important role. It should be remembered that even the most professional chiropractic procedures will lead to improvement lasting only for a short period of time, if the pelvis remains in its improper position. It indicates that if this state is allowed to exist for a longer period of time then in coming years of adulthood it is almost certain that we can expect increasing problems, possibly including surgery. The Natural Saionji Therapy (related to, and in some countries also known as Yumeiho massage) can bring displaced hipbones back to normal. It is a cause therapy - differing from the symptomatic treatment that deals only with symptoms of diseases. It aims principally at correcting the displacement in the entire bone framework, including the hipbones, Articulatio Coxae and the Vertebrae. This is obtained by removing tension or stiffness in the muscles and their connective tissues so that they are softened to allow the joints to expend the fullest extent.
Is Saionji for my child? Saionji has been used for many years in Europe in the assessment and treatment of children who have developed curves in their spines. These range from mild to severe. In this age of computer gaming and TV-watching for children, Saionji is remarkably effective in the preservation of good posture and health. Help your child grow up healthy! A child undergoing preventable correction will avoid one-arched curvature (scoliosis).
